Sports Photojournalist & Visual Storyteller

YXReveal Photo Sports is an independent sports photography and editorial platform dedicated to documenting the emotion, intensity, and human stories that define sport. Founded by Mexico-based sports photographer and photojournalist Yeida Xicotencatl, the platform specializes in women's basketball, international competition, and visual storytelling across the Americas.

As the founder and lead photographer of YXReveal Photo Sports, I specialize in covering basketball, women's sports, and international competitions through an editorial approach that goes beyond the action itself. Every assignment is an opportunity to document not only decisive moments on the court, but also the people, emotions, and stories that give those moments meaning.

My experience includes coverage of professional and international sporting events, including Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP), Mexican National Team competitions, FIBA qualifying tournaments, NBA G League-related events, Liga MX Femenil, international handball tournaments, and CrossFit competitions.

Women's sports are at the heart of my work. From elite-level competitions and athlete development programs to international tournaments, I strive to create photography that reflects the speed, determination, emotion, and excellence that define today's game.
