I'm Yeida Xicotencatl, a Mexico-based sports photographer and photojournalist specializing in basketball, women's sports, and international competition coverage.
Through YXReveal Photo Sports, I document the emotion, intensity, and human stories that define sport. My work focuses on capturing authentic moments—from championship battles and national team competitions to athlete portraits and behind-the-scenes narratives.
My experience includes coverage of professional and international sporting events, including Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP), Mexican National Team competitions, NBA G League-related events, Liga MX Femenil, international handball tournaments, and CrossFit competitions.
I approach every assignment with an editorial mindset, seeking not only the action itself, but also the stories behind the athletes, the atmosphere of competition, and the moments that connect people to sport.
Women's sports are at the heart of my work. From elite-level competition and athlete development programs to international tournaments, I strive to create imagery that captures the speed, determination, emotion, and excellence that define the modern game.
My photography has been featured across digital sports platforms, event coverage, and social media channels dedicated to promoting athletes and growing visibility for women's sports and emerging talent.
